I purchased no new yarn for this project, and I love it just as if I'd picked it all for this specific project!

I was a little skeptical about using the heathered black... if I hadn't been so adamant about stash busting with this one I'd've probably purchased a new skein of plain black. But I had an entire 200 yard skein of heathers and I'm so glad I just used that!

I LOVE that bag!! May I ask where you got the pattern?

I just finished a couple of quickie projects. The first is my "dog bone" toy.

The second is another toy for my dog; a snail.

No pattern for either. Just started working and this was what came of it.

Here's my latest stashbusting project - took 5 balls of Rowan Big Wool (which is a great yarn, IMHO) in Forest. It's the Zara sweater from Rowan's Bigger Picture and a matching hat i invented myself.

Going to stash bust some more!

Fell hard
and swiped my credit card on the way down.
Yep, I ADDED to my stash not just a little either. HL has some great kits for cheap of dishcloth cotton...bought 5!! of them! What was I thinking?! now I'm knitting cloths for everyone but do I really 'need' all that yarn????
On the up side i did sell 2 skeins of Trekking so I don't feel too bad--sad justification, I know.

I thought I would post since I haven't in a while. I have been working on a lot of the oddball projects (blankets, lapghans, baby blankets, premie blankets, logcabin blankets) and I have managed to use only stashed yarn so far! I think I've used one complete ball of white yarn, but I have a few that are almost gone as well.

I also started knitting a hat for me out of stashed yarn and some baby booties since I'm expecting from my stashed yarn.

I was given a 150 gift cert for christmas and I am happy to say I have NOT used any of the money yet. I'm hoping to get a few more projects done and some more skeins of yarn gone or down. My goal is to only buy yarn that i have projects in mind for from that gift cert. Then maybe it wont just go into the "Stashed" yarn pile.

I am hoping to do some baby knitting with the gift certificate.
