Beautiful work, as always! I LOVE that button too!!!

I think I have as much fun looking at buttons as I do fibers...

This pattern came out before Mr Greenjeans, so really Mr Greenjeans looks a lot like this. Wendy has some really great patterns.

Artlady - it came out great! I don't think I've seen a striped one before. Really gorgeous! I'm surprised this is your first top down with all the knitting you do.

I bought a TOP DOWN book several years ago...looked through it more carefully (after I bought it )...and my mind went on spin cycle!

I just never did try any of the patterns. Isn't it funny what things will trip us up??!! Confuse us!? Perplex us??!

Well, I have no excuse except to say...I have so many patterns to choose from...why pick one that is a PITA!

But I needed this "Something Red" pattern real bad...to go with the yarn I invested in! I think the combination came out great. It really looks good on me, too. I'll take a photo with me wearing it next week. I'm getting my hair cut. (long overdue I might add). I take such crappy photos. Maybe another hairdo will fix things!
I've been so sick with viruses this past 3 months...one virus after another. I couldn't get down with sprucing up my own appearance til this week!

Well, I hope you feel better now and that the hairdo will give you some spring spirit! Anyway, the cardigan is beautiful! I can't believe it's your first top-down. So how about conquering your fear of socks ?

Oooooo ouch! Ya got me!

Yeah, I know...I gotta try a sock! DH and I take our week-long mountain wilderness trips starting in May....then June, July, Aug, Oct.

I thought those wilderness weeks would be a good time to begin a sock. I have nothin' to do except breath mountain air, maintain peace amongst the 4 dogs, cook for DH, and knit. I do indulge in photography and videography, too...but other than that...

So, yup...I promise to start a sock in May.

What do you suggest? Top down, or toe up? DPN's, two circs, or magic loop?

I think I can do a sock...but the concept is intimidating, I must admit.

Such a little thing, too. Small things can be the worst!

OMG I love that! It's gorgeous, Dollyce! I am so jealous that you are such a fearless knitter
Plus, I like yours more than the original. The color way makes it so much more interesting.

Not only fearless, you are a fast knitter. Once you start knitting socks, you'll be making them for everyone in your family all the time.

Lovely work!

Thanks a bunch! It fits me, too! I am so happy. I frogged and frogged on the sleeves...to make them the right circumference...which also impacts the way the upper body fits!

I like it so much I am making another one! (70% done) A few little modifications, but pretty much the same but with a diff yarn.
