I've looked at this a few times in the store, but it really didn't appeal to me. But, I love a book that makes me cry, so maybe I'll have to get this after all.

I got it from the library a couple months ago. I tried reading it and found it a little boring, so I took it back. Then my mother bought the book, read it, and gave it to me. I started it again and actually enjoyed it the second time around. I thought the first chapter or two was a little slow though.

Honestly, I didn't like it. It was predictable and the main character was completely unlikable. Basically a weekend worth of reading time wasted.

I just finished the book last night at 3:30 AM. I liked it for what it was, a quick easy read with the theme being a hobby I enjoy a lot. The book made me feel good about the hobby and how it can affect others. I know needlework has had a big impact on my life and the lives of others I know and love. I found the book verified my feelings and left me with the feeling that we should appreciate and enjoy our lives, no matter what is dealt to us and knitting can enhance that appreciation and enjoyment.
I enjoyed it and if this author comes out with any others I will be sure to read it.

I just finished reading the book last week and loved it. I also cried at the ending. It wasn't what I expected.
