I'm baaaack!
Hi KHers! Its been a looong while since I've been around here (I think since almost Nov.!!) and its been equally as long since I've knit anything. I just had a ton going on with work and grad school and such. Well I'm back here, and I'm back ready to start my first project in 5 months! Boy I've missed it around here!

I want to make this hat for a family friend who has cancer. She's 26 and is the youngest person the docs have ever seen to have this certain type of lung and brain cancer. She's been wearing tons of hats, so I thought this would be a nice hat for the summer.

Welcome back. So sorry to hear about your friend but that is a very pretty hat which I am sure she would appreciate.

Hiya Toots

Very nice to have you back - I wondered why it had been quiet around here lately.

Sorry to hear about your family friend having such a hard time. The hat looks lovely, and here's a site here that may help as well

Best Wishes
