Shandeh Will Be UNAVAILABLE for a Couple Days

Hello, all you wonderful Oddball Knitters!

Just wanted to give you a heads-up.....

I will be working on my craft room today and tomorrow, because I have to share the room with my hubby over the summer. His son (my stepson) is coming to live with us during the month of May, so he will need to stay in my hubby's "cave room".

I will be moving yarn bins and fiber and fabric for the next two days, to make room for my hubby's stuff.

So, this means I will not be on the forum much (if at all) until Sunday (April 13th).

If you have any questions about the oddball projects, please talk among yourselves in the discussion threads here in the forum, or check the offsite blogs for the list of knitters in order for each project.

oh man! You just got that all set up for yourself this winter, all organized. Are you making a rule list? "No mixing wool and acrylic" "No touching pattern piles"

Thank you all for the good wishes!

Everything went fine, and now my hubby has a corner available to move his desk and bookshelf in. It's not much space, but enough for now.

Oh! And I found out that his son is coming at the END of May, so I guess he's staying for the month of June.

Time will tell.

Bethany, he'll be good about avoiding my stuff. And I'll do my best to keep my paws off HIS stuff too. But, he is not very organized....so my craft room is NOT going to be very photogenic for a while.

Here is what I got accomplished.

My hubby's empty corner:

All of my stuff, crammed into a smaller space. (My rocker is SURROUNDED by yarn now!)

The front of the room didn't change much. All I did was put a bookshelf behind the spinning wheel. I like it better there, so I'll probably keep it there from now on.

Here is the view from my hubby's side of the room. I placed my fabric cutting table between our spaces, so he would have a sort of wall between us. That will allow him to have a bit of privacy. The TV is on his side of the room, so he should be happy. (Do you see my yarn bins under the shelves now? They fit just right!)

You were busy! I'm sure you two will get along just fine there, with the wall and the tv and all. haha!

I WISH! We DO have a little building, with an overhanging light in it. But, he's not interested in putting his stuff out there. I guess all the spiders and snakes and mice in our rural area are a bit discouraging.

I even tried to convince him to work on that building, adding power and stuff, but he just ignored me. He's not really a "handy man" kinda guy anyway. He has other talents, though.
