Mason, if you don't want to do a podcast ("and who doesn't love a southern accent" she drawled) - why not think of writing a book! I would buy it!!

Well, maybe you should give writing a book a little more thought! You've definitely got a fan-base started, right here! Sharly
You could write a book half knitting patterns half truckstop reviews. And you can add it which stops are better for knitters, you know type of seating, how quickly food comes out, etc.
Hey Mason, even if Financial Times put you on the back burner, and you're not sure if you have a book in you, it's still worth your time to jot down things as they occur to you. You might get a chance to put all of it together some day, and you already know how much we like reading what you write.

Thanks everyone. While I still can't imagine anyone actually wanting to read a book that I wrote I have started putting together a few notes to explore the idea.

What do you mean guys don't knit?
Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.
Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.

What an honor, Mason! DH knits, but not in public. He NEEDS a book by a dude like you!
Here's an idea: Get a voice recorder. You can't knit while you drive, but you can talk! Then you can have someone type it all up for you!
That's a really good idea. I have a voice recorder with an integrated USB connector. I just blab my notes on it, then stick it in the computer to download and edit.
