How 'bout I come to Germany and help you UNpack
What a lovely idea! They sell lovely yarn there, and it's easy to find in the larger cities.

Plant.. I hope it doesn't cost that much to get my old VW to German Specs.. yikes! That would elminate my yarn budget.

Gee I hope not as well. But maybe you could get a new one while you're there.

Maybe I can buy a new car when I MOVE FROM GERMANY?? However, not for the first couple of years.. no $$ It will cost a lot to move there.. (the govt pays my monthly rent but.. I have to pay the 2 months rent deposit (and probably the first month's rent before the monthly rent $ kicks in) and the $2,000.00+ fee to the realtor's to help me find a place to live.. and you only get $500.00 of that refunded) So, I won't be buying a new car for awhile.. but, the plan is to buy one before I leave..

So, I think I'll be glad that I'll be packing all of my yarn-- especially the first year.. of 'limited fun $$ to spare!'

That picture on your blog of the injured Marine in dress blues is one of the most touching I have ever seen. God bless him. I truly hope he gets the care he deserves.
