FO: First Ever Sock!


This is the Tropical Punch Slipper Sock...and my first ever finished sock! I am SO proud of having finished a sock it is ridiculous...lol. Now I can work my way down into the finer sock yarns I've been collecting...

This is a great pattern if you are new to socks and intimidated by them. You make them on larger needles with two strands held together throughout so they come out nice and thick and warm. I made this in a day and a half and really enjoyed it. Best of all, it fits great! What a nice gift idea...

I'll be making more of these for sure...and yes, in jazzier colors! :-)

Congratulations on your first sock! It's such a huge hurdle for knitters to get over, which makes it feel so AMAZING when you bind off! You can officially do anything now!
