Thanks! So, Pauline will be knitting on it next. I'll include the rest of the yarn, so you ladies can use it on this blanket again if you want.

In the states, we asked for donations of needles for the project. I have about 20 circular needles now, and mail them out if anyone needs a set to start a blanket with. (I'll be including some needles in the package I'm sending to Pauline.) Sometimes, our knitters will send their knitting to the next person with a strand of cotton yarn run through the stitches, but it's much easier to work with if it's kept on the same needles throughout the process.

Great idea! You ladies can do as you wish with the blanket. Have fun!

Hi Folks

Jen has asked me to tell you that she's sorry but that she's unavailable at the moment.

She would like to keep the two blankets she has and work on them as/when she can, if that's ok.

I'm not sure how your group is handling this, but in the States, we get two weeks to work on the blanket. This keeps the blankets in circulation, so they can be completed, and given to the hospital.

If I were involved in making the decision, I would say that she should forward the blankets to the next knitter, and let the group know when she is ready to participate again.

Just my two cents.

I think she should keep them for now she has enough to deal with without worrying about the blankets. when things have settled a bit maybe she could finish them or just send them on to the next person.

All the best to Jen and her brother. Hope he is doing OK.

DQ let me know she would be a bit slow on those two blankets and its already sort that she will keep them a while.
we have many other blankets being knitted right now it should be fine.
hugs to all and hope we all have good days

Hi Shandeh

It was very late last night when I received Jen's message and I'm sorry if you were not aware of the circumstances of why she wanted me to post on the Blanket thread.

I've sent you a PM, explaining the situation.

All Best Wishes.

Ellie
