That hat is just yummy . What kind of yarn are you using ? I just love it

At the rate you are knitting these hats , You will need to send them in a crate instead of an enevlope lol

Hiya Julie

Thanks so much for another lovely hat - (something wrong with me today, everything knitted reminds me of cake or sweets.)

It could be a Walnut Whip or a chocolate Swiss Roll but whatever we choose to call it, it's absolutely lovely.

I'm going to send you an email about the hats, so please hang on to yours, and it should be with you soon.

Thanks very much for all your kind help!

Ellie

Hi Rita

Sorry you're not feeling the best, old fruit.

Is that lurgy still lurking? - you sounded awful bunged up last time I spoke to you.

I hope you can manage to shake it off and that you'll be feeling better soon.

Best Wishes

Ellie

HiFolks

I went to the hub of the Knitting Universe last week - Morecambe Market - and couldn't resist stocking up a bit on some new(ish?) varigated yarn.

It seems to be self-patterning, and I've put a couple of pix here so that you can see what I'm on about:

The wool is called Magi Knit by James Brett and costs approx 1.90 for 100 gms.

Mornin' one and all

Thank you everyone who has written to me, telling me how many hats they have made.

Kick Off for the appeal was 26 March - just seven weeks ago - so, how many hats have been made?

50? Nah

60? Bit Higher
a WHOPPING

86!!!

:happydanc e: :g rphug:

Amazing and a Brilliant Effort by All of You
That is just over 12 hats knitted each week!!!
I can't tell you how chuffed I am
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH

I'VE PROMISED MYSELF THAT I'M GOING TO PUT ALOT OF THINGS ASIDE AND SEE IF I CAN'T GET MY KNITTING SPEED UP!! and turn out more hats (Julie and Rita, pick yourselves up off the floor - horrors!)

It would be magic if we could get it to the hundred mark by the end of next week! and I'll let you know if we make it.

Thank you all so much again !!!

Yours, skipping daisies

Ellie
