Yeah, you're right -that's why it's always a good idea to keep a tape measure in your knitting bag - so that you can measure accurately how much wider a floppy roll-up brim is compared to a rib.

Shame about the colour because that looks like a cute little beanie.

Could you perhaps take another photo tomorrow when the light is better? It's a shame not to show the colour properly when you've worked to make the hat.

Dark or not, though - that's hat 99!

Hi ladies
Ellie i cant remember how many i told you i had knitted but i am just sewing up number 29 and once sewn will be placed in a special plastic bag for posting tomorrow afternoon i have another half knitted too hope to have that finished for posting too.
and my daughter has started her 1st hat too
