Sewing My Knitting?????
Hi everyone. So I am done with my knitting notebook and decided to knit
a simple purse. I am almost done after frogging it at least 10 times. I
just have a question for y'all. My pattern tells me {FINISHING: With
wrong sides together, fold lower 20" of bag in half up to flap
decrease, forming a 10" deep pocket; sew side seams.} So my question is
what is the best way to sew up the side seams?? {FLAP EDGING: With
right side facing pick up and k33sts evenly across side of flap from
end of border to seam. Bind off. Rep on opposite edge.} 2nd question:
What???? I thought it was a simple pattern until I sat down to ask
about the sewing part. Can someone explain how I can bind off something
then pick up 33 stitches and knit them? Sorry for the long post. Thanks
in advance for any help.
Cheryl
