Hi Folks

Julie's package arrived yesterday and here are the lovely hats she knitted.

Your package is being posted first thing in the morning, Julie - and thanks so much again for your time and effort.

Oo - by the way, I'm beginning to think it's my Birthday this week - Rita, bless her little cotton socks, went out and bought me the scrumptious brown wool yesterday and look what arrived in Julie's package.

Thank you both so much!!

Sorry if the pix are not brilliant but I had to climb a ladder to get all the hats in the photo!

The pink yarn is the same one Julie used to knit the lovely pink and white Fair Isle hat and I love that shade of green as well!

It's a shame we can't get Caron Simply Soft over here in the UK, without it costing an arm and a leg! We can but drool!

Hiya Julie

Of course Rita's no help - whadaya expect, mixing it with two Brits? Should know better at your age!

Julie's version of the 'RIGHT' way to knit is holding the yarn in your left paw! Well, at least I'm willing to give weird stuff a try! Unlike some I could mention, who won't get a long needle and stuff it under their right arm like anyone civilised would

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4HwTFViLR5Y

or believe me when I said there were such things as knitters belts and my wonderful (and far superior ) way of knitting was known as 'Shetland'

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WjEh7acrr5o

If somebody doesn't watch out, they might end up with a tin of these http://www.uncle-joes.com/ - make a vindaloo seem like ice-cream! Guaranteed to blow you back on your ***!

You have been warned!!!!!

All the Best

Ellie

Hiya Julie

What are you doing up at this ungodly hour, haunting my apron?

Just to let you know that I posted your hats (FILLED a big shoebox, they did!) by First Class Recorded Delivery this morning - so they should get to Save the Children, in London, tomorrow.

MANY THANKS AGAIN - I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!

YOU'RE A
Best Wishes
