Patons Allure
I'm looking for about 2 balls of Allure (or something that looks like it) in black. Anybody got some hanging around?

If you've got a Dollar Tree store nearby, check them. I saw a bunch of it in my local one today, in black.

I have 2 skeins of Patons Allure in Dark Sapphire just laying around. It is so dark that it almost looks black, but I don't have black. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Lady M, but I know this person has their heart set on black, so I'm still a-searching!

... is the problem that you can't find the yarn or a similar one? or do you live MILES away from a store?
will Lion Brand Fun Fur work? they sell it at every walmart I have ever been to
I can't tell from pictures... is Patons Allure "fur" yarn with bits of fuzz (like mohair/fur yarn) or is it just a fur yarn?

Thanks, MaleKnitter, I found a pretty good substitute and my friend was happy with what I made.
