Can these be done? I had a family member ask me to do this and I don't mind but I'm a little concerned about whether it will even work.

What are you looking for?

All you have to do is search google with "reverse email search" and you get thousands of pages.

One that really works and doesn't just take your money. My SIL wants something checked into but can't do it at her house.

And when you do one of these, does it just give you the IP? I'm not sure that she (or I) would know what to do with just an IP anyway.

However, if you don't know what you're doing it might not help even if you find something. Can your SIL come to your house and do it herself?
