ooooooh! I hope this works out for you guys! Me and DH went to new york city and only stayed for one night, but had sooooo much fun! To be able to stay at someone's apt and not a hotel sounds great! And as a bonus you get to play with their kitties!

I know the vets in NYC are expensive but sometimes in an emergency those of us who are city bound dont have much of a choice. One of those vets saved my Maggies life and I so I guess I cant complain too much!

If I was closer I would totally do it, too. I love NYC. We went and stayed with my daughter in her mid-town apt. Hope it works out for you two!
