I'm so sorry to hear about Spud. Hopefully you will have more time with him than you think.

I am so, so sorry. I live in fear of this.

Please send lots of hugs and kisses to Spud. Cyrus and I are keeping fingers and paws crossed.

I am so, so sorry to hear your poor pet might be leaving you. It's even harder when you might have to make the decision that to end the suffering early. I know, you didn't mention that, but I know it's going thu' your mind. I have a 14yo chow who is slowly losing his sight and a bit of his hearing, has problems with arthritis and bad teeth, and is beginning to stumble coming up the porch steps. As long as Oso can eat, take his aspirin, and will roll over for me to rub his belly, I keep hanging in there, but I know within the next 6 months to a year, his health will deteriorate to the point that I must consider that final and most difficult act of love that any pet owner can face.

I guess that's my long-winded way of saying...I understand what you may be facing shortly; sending a little prayer of strength out for you.

I'm so sorry. Love him up as much as you can (I know you will). Love each other, too. I'll be thinking about you. Here's to you, Spud. Thanks for being such a great companion.

I'm so sorry. Such terrible news for you and your DH. This has been a terrible week for our furry kids.
