Julie-Your top is so cute...and you have the perfect little figure to pull it off.

I emailed Anni that I'd take either but that my first choice is the bamboo. Oh this is so exciting to be getting free sock yarn for knitting a pair of socks!

Dustina, any chance of you getting in contact with Dotty?

I have Dotty's address from when she made my circ. knitting case for me but that's the only way to get ahold of her, unless we were to use her addy to get her phone number, but when she left she wasn't wanting to share her phone number so I dont want to 'infringe' upon her privacy. I'll probably send her a note tomorrow & ask her to pop in and say hi that we're all missin her.

Thanks for all the compliments on green gables, it was fun, but the plain st st got boring ~ just glad it was done so fast. Glad all 3 of my kids all slept for about an hour each day

Julie the sweater is perfect.
Christine the baby dress is simply beautiful.
Jackie thought you would like the lizards. I could make you lizard pillow cases. LOL
I can tell you sock knitters are quite the knitters all around.
I can't wait til I can buy some real sock yarn. The ones I am working on are made with Noro Ice, cool colorway. I had to put them down for a day, but I will get back at them. Can't wait to get to the toe part, (yeah, right)
It is 88 degrees here at 6:00 pm, with major storms moving in. Come on cool breeze.
Back to the knit

Hi
Morning,

Yes, the one in my Avatar is my lastest pair of socks done.
http://kitty.com/ISSUEspring08/KSPATT spirogyra.html
Not once but twice i knit the same pattern as i love the slanting shell stitch pattern. Same yarn too (very soft, pastel colour, cozy on my hands and feets)

Dustina - welcome home. We miss you very much. u sure are busy with knitting even on holiday, bringing back a couple of socks. I always wind into 2 balls for 2-a-time to avoid entangle.

Julie - The "pink" green cables is beautiful ! Well-done
Before u know, Caitlin will be typing and chatting with us The Next Generation

Christine - u have chossen the right colour for the baby lacy dress, its going to be another beautiful work

Marilynn - I m sure, pretty soon, we will be able to see your socks.....

Carla - my choice is also the Playful Bamboo yarn. Hope u will get it.

Ann - Happy shopping

Gina - Thats nice colour yarn, enjoy your holiday !

Carey - ML 2-at-1-time Rocks

Good Morning Socksters!!

Julie~The GG looks great

Carla~I don't have her phone # either just her addy, I put a card out to her saying we miss her and to stay in touch...I also included my # to her or asked for hers since I have unlimited long distance...hopefully she will come on again soon... Congrats on the win and I love the bamboo yarn!!

Christine~That is sooo pretty!!

Karina~ of course computer time comes first!!

Marilynn~I can't wait to see your socks...it was hot and muggy here yesterday...about 8:30 I worked a bit on a dishrag

Ann~I hope your feet feel better today..nothing worse than that...I can't wait to see your yarn

Carey~I'm wanting to read that book as well...then watch the movie

Jackie~Love the socks and the fingerless glove!! The picnic photo was taking in my parent's back yard (the porch is closed in so for cook outs we can put the dogs off the porch)...that is where we had the campfire too...

Sue~I'll go check out the blanket this morning

Nothing much happening here today...Roo starts dance camp this morning and Isaiah starts wrestling camp...I'm going to take my Summer of Socks with me and work on those...I need to get all socks off the needles and then work on the Civil War shawl nonstop. If I'm going to enter it in the fair in Sept ...we shall see how it goes...

I think it's suppose to be hotter today but our grass can't wait so will get that started too...I posted some pictures of our trip on my blog last night...

I hope you all have a great day of knitting
