I love knitting toys! I prefer Jean Greenhowe's patterns, but am open to any that I see that I fall in love with....

I've got a few projects on the go right now, but I'm always up for a new knitted toy.... (looks through the Jean stash to decide...)

mmmm.... ok. I'll join. I have one of her older books..."knitted toys" published in '86.

Mama's and babes. pg. 58-61.
I think I'll do the hedgehogs. because they are soo, soo cute....

Here is a shot of the page from the book. I'll update my progress as I progress.

Mine isn't going to look like that

Nice to see a back view too, it's bigger than I thought already glad I'm using the DK not the worsted hubby wanted me to use.

Ellie , I think if you had gone with worsted your fairy would have been about 20in .
I am sure yours will look just as nice .
Thanks

Finished.... Now no-one laugh it's my first proper toy! I should have chosen something a bit simpler but it's done now.

Alan Dart's Tooth Fairy, (well sort of I gave her a make over )

Wuh-who I just completed my second KAL!
