Wow, babies grow up so fast, with her standing up, walking will be right around the corner, and there goes your knit time. But it will be worth it. She sounds cute,
I agree everyone needs a knitt night, I had mine tonight, I worked on my slip stitch baby blanket and showed off my toe less socks. It feels good to see what others are kntting and talk about anything while knitting. It has to be good for you.

You need to direct your brother over to the DIY section of www.Xmarksthescot.com This is a group, mainly men, who have an on going discussion on sewing kilts and kilt related items. Macho is the person doing a task not the task itself.

when mommy is calm the house is calm. You are not taking time to knit for yourself but for the good of your family.

Good Morning Socksters!

Julie~Usually means I'm tired too or anxious...thanks for answering the PU Question ...I had a dream about you last night we were at the little grocery store in WV and you were asking me about a colorwork sock...so we took you home so we could discuss it on the way

Bobbie~I'm sorry I should have put what PU was in the post

Marilynn~I'm so glad you got to go last night and knit

Chris~ yep, that's why I knit...not for myself...oh' no...it's all for the family

Nothing much here today...I'm so glad it's Friday ...we are going to clean out the gutters and the upstairs closet...I need to work on the SOSocks but blahhh I'm really not feeling them anymore but I'm past the heel so I'm almost there...just gotta get the cuff long enough to bo can we say very short ankle socks??

I also joined the dishrag kal for the Olympics (on here) it's a great way to get started on my Christmas gift knitting...I always put a disharag in the gift bags and then through out the year I pass them out too

I hope you all have a great day of knitting

ETA: We were talking about putting faces with names before I left for WV and I posted one of JD and me on my blog...but just now posted it on this topic in the OT forum...that is all you will get lol : )

Dustina no prob about the pu. glad to help. Love the pic of you, I'd seen it in your blog, but you do that funny thing to pics of people in there.

Christine did you find a pattern for your teddy blanket?

Mornin everyone! I don't have much to say except that I only have 6 more rows on the back of my CPH - yes I need to do some socks for July but this is so addicting (the CPH). & I need to make more 'sin rolls' (cinnamon - though Bailey, 2, calls them sin rolls) b/c after breakfast they'll be gone.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Fri!!! & a great weekend. I plan on scheduling some time to knit next weekend Chris-promise.

Hi Socksters,

Thought you might be interested in this story Sock Snatcher.

I have been working on the Baby Surprise Jacket...this could possibly become addictive. There are so many ways to stripe this and change it. I can't wait to get this one finished so I can start on the next one.

Dotty, we miss you!

Sock on,

Carla I have that pattern too, just haven't done it yet-maybe for Caitlin for this fall? what yarn/needle size are you using? I need to find the right combo that will yield a 12mo size probly.
sock snatcher, Women beware & hide your hand knit socks!!! what a wierd problem.

Christine Boots looks really cute in the avatar. I'll keep lookin for a heart pattern st. for you...do you want a lacy one, where the YO make the heart or do you want a solid one made of st st & purl sts?
