I'd love to chip in for anything you want to send. You can PM me with your e-mail address if you want when you decide. What city are they in? Maybe if some of us live near them we could bring food. Maybe GC's for eating places close to the hospital?

Let me know. I'm praying but would like to do more. I'd love to send a gift bag to her other son, don't want him to feel left out.

Auburn I'm shooting to have the blanket done by the end of August if not sooner. I was going to make the deadline August 15th for the squares to me so I could get them sewn and bordered.

Hi all!

I'm going to try to consolidate the two threads (this one and the one I started in the Off-Topic forum) into a thread located in the Charity forum.

Here's the link to the new topic.

A quick thanks to Katrina, who already sent $$ to help fund balloons and TracFone cards.

Onward to the new thread!

I have a "shoebox" full of grannies (years of practicing crochet) however they are all not the same size..all the same yarn weight, just different sizes. I would be more than happy to send them off to become a blankie..also, prayers and hugs to that poor little kid Let me know

FYI: Being a medical person- PLEASE DO NOT send latex balloons to the hospital. You can send mylar (the shiny, silvery ones), but latex is a no no in most hospitals and they won't accept them. You will have wasted your money for no good reason.

I would like to contribute. I can't crochet - but I can contribute financially. Please PM me with the info. Thanks. MY thoughts and prayers are with her family.
