Mary that is gorgeous. Green is my favorite color. It is interesting how the shade of green looks different in some of the sections. It may not do that except on a computer screen, but it is neat. That center looks like a huge dahlia. I love the whole thing.

Another fan of green here! So pretty! Other than some doilies years ago that's about as close as I've gotten to anything like your tablecloth. Along with ArtLady, I've yet to get the nerve to tackle something on that scale. I've wandered thru projects on Rav when I feel the urge ...but it passes quickly.

I'm sure that the shading is caused by changing directions in grain, as in velvet fabric...called nap which gives any fabric shading at different angles. The thread has a light sheen as well! I love green, too!

What's nice is that it's done on circulars....continous knit side knitting! You could do it!
