Clue 6 finished!
I finished Clue 6 night before last, got seduced by a new pair of socks last night so didn't touch MS3, but was informed firmly by the stole that it wanted to be massaged tonight and brought that much closer to completion. Feisty little thing, isn't it?! Anyhoo, here's a pic, almost there...

That sounds like a really neat idea, you can get just the color you want when you dye it yourself!

I will probably have enough yarn left over to knit the double winged version myself, and keep that one for me. It could happen....

Looks so beautiful. I admire your persistence. I may be inspired to finish mine by the time the next mystery stole comes out.

I'm persistant because this is a Christmas gift for my best friend, and because it's been a great source of satisfaction to knit this project. I'm really enjoying lace.

i wish i could say i waited, but it was a combination of being really slow, new to lace, and scared i'd mess it up! but looks like it paid off

I'm glad it's done; I stalled out last year after finding out the "mystery"--asymmetrical wasn't my thing. But I wanted to finish it as originally designed. I chose to knit with a smaller size needle than the pattern called for; I just like it better. Of course, it means the finished item is smaller. After blocking it is 65.5 inches tip to tip and 16 inches wide. I love the beading technique (which you can't see---sorry) and now feel free to add it to anything else in the future.
