Cancer s@#ks! I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. You are so right about the sunscreen. My wonderful, way too young dad died of melanoma (way, way worse than what you have) and all the doctors said that it was from bad sunburns he had as a child. Do overs would be so nice.

I talked to my doctor last night. They are going to do a little more surgery then put me on some topicical chemo for six weeks. I think I'll have enough earlobe left to poke another earring hole through. My husband keeps saying to me "I'll get you another hole", meaning he'll have the ear fixed so that I can wear an earring over there. Everytime I hear it I just laugh at the way it sounds though.

Well, thankfully your DH is going to get you a new hole, when all is done! Is he going to get you new earrings to go in the new hole? Tell him after all you've been through, it's the least he can do for you!
