Abbreviations
I am knitting a pattern that says purl8 m1 and knit 6. i know the other abreviations but not m1. i think it might be mark on but reading on i think it means increase because i have 60 stitches and the i have 64. i am not sure but if you know what m1 please tell me.

It means "make 1," an increase.
