Wow Julie, that hat is gorgeous!

Love your little hats too Rita!

I made one in between the Florida Bag and starting the sweater for a baby gift. I'll post pix when I have more time.

I have made a few hats and these will be going to the oxfam shop to help raise funds.
The green ruffled hat is so easy and also done on two needles. The pattern is from the Bernat website , and i made it with the green Caron that Julie sent me
The pink one was actually done in in Bernat Silk which was brilliant to knit with. This yarn was kindly sent to me by Sue.
I loved the way these two hats came out .
Thanks everyone for your efforts with all the different charities. Every little helps .

Thanks Ben10 ((HUGGS))

Rita, I read on another thread that you knitted the flower (on the pink hat)...do you have those instructions? If it's not too hard, I have a niece who would love one on a hat (if i get it done).

Hi Pam ,
The flower is very easy it is not from a pattern. I just did my own thing .
Cast on as mant stitches you think you may need. Maybe 15st or so .
next row- Inc in every st (30)
Next row - purl
Next row -Knit
Do a couple more St st rows and then depending how big you want the flower.
When you are happy with the length of the petal. Then cast off.
Sew the sides to form a circle . then gather cast on edge and bind tightly.
Attach to hat through centre of petal. .
