FI-NALLY got the camera back this morning!

Little Triangle hat that has a criss-cross of stitches, making a diamond shape, when viewed sideways .... I used the Caron so soft yarn, kindly sent to me by Julie.

As well as being ultra-soft, the Caron has a lovely sheen to it, giving depth to the colour - Many Thanks, Julie.

Here's the rest of the goodies .... how anyone can part with circs like these is beyond me! but they'll come in soooooo useful for my premature baby hat projects after the appeal ends.

I was outside last night and noticed that it was a full moon ... I'll give them a good home but if you need them back at all, please just howl! I'd hate to take advantage of this lunar phase.

Thanks too, for the Babe Ruth and Big Red - I'm glad there's only me in the house when the parcel arrives or I'd have to fight the rest of 'em off with a whip and a chair!

The hats are lovely and so soft - they'll go with my stash when I post to STC after the weekend.

With Warmest Wishes and thanks again.
Ellie

Hi Julie

Claire loved the scarf! and says 'Thank you so much' for knitting it. The Babe Ruth bars went down a treat as well!!!

Expanding my knitting talents!?? Oh, yeah - compared to the single cable, this was a piece of cake

Hi Julie

I didn't think it was humanly possible to have any more cross-purpose, 'doorbell' conversations than I've had with the Hubs and the Bear over the years - but you plumb new, sheer, dizzying and dazzling depths!!! Prawn!!!

Thanks very much for the compliment!!!!!???????? (are you sure about that? ) - it was no big deal though, to stick a cable in the middle of a hat.

Ellie

Hi Julie

Thanks very much for knitting the lovely, little hat. The yarn creates such a pretty effect, without colour 'pooling'.

I posted off your hats yesterday, along with some of my own but I've been thinking about the STC deadline of 21 October and shipping times from the US.

As it will be the end of September in just a few days, I think it might be best if you posted direct to Save The Children please, rather than sending me the hats and then me forwarding them to London (I'd hate you to miss the deadline because the hats were winging their way to north west England, rather than on their merry way to London)

Address:-

Save the Children
1 St. John's Lane
London EC1M 4AR
UK

Many Thanks
Ellie
