That is the sweeeeetest story! Your cats are beautiful.

Well, I have 6 indoor cats, plus lots of strays that we've managed to catch and have spayed/neutered. Some have become friendly, some probably never will, but I love them all.
I'm only going to list, and show pics of my indoor cats here. Abby (calico) and Annie (tortie), were from a litter of farm kittens, that my aunt bottle fed after they lost thier mother. When they became old enough, she gave these two to us. Merlin (himalayan) and Morty (orange tabby) were adopted from the shelter in Sulpher Springs, TX, where we took our strays to be fixed and vetted. Mabel (long haired tortie) used to belong to my niece and her family until they hit some financial struggles, and had to move in with her MIL (her MIL doesn't allow pets in her house). And Max (Tabby kitten in my avatar) was a stray, found on the parking lot of the bank, by a co-worker of DH's.
Yes, I'm a sucker.

Yay! I love reading all the stories!
You know what, I'm going to quit asking if I can post these on the blog, and just go ahead and do it!
So, if any of you do NOT want me to post your pet stories or photos, just let me know. THAT will be easier for me to manage.

Sandy, it looks like you may need an extra knitter on that 2nd blanket, so go ahead and put me on the list. I am finding that even though I am on a bunch of the charity knitting blankies, my part is really only a 2 or 3 hour movie. And it is excellent destashing!
I also checked out the website for the snuggles project. Do you need to be a member(ie donate) to give them a donation of a blankie or something else? I linked and saw some local orgs that are part that could use other things too.

Thanks Susan!
Now, we just need 2 more knitters on Kitty Cuddles!
You don't have to be a member of the project to make a donation. All we have to do is print out the form they have available, fill it out and put it with the blanket. Then find an animal shelter in our area that accepts handknit snuggles. (There is a list of participating shelters on that website, but all you have to do is call a shelter in your area if you want.)

Sandy,
You can add me to that blanket. I'm on the list of knitters but not currently assigned to a blanket!
