Pumpkin "Porn" - with apologies to the Mods

I love seeing all the pumpkins! Thanks for the post. I once did an elaborate carving of a cat face with whiskers. It was fun, but it took a lot of time. Lately, I have a huge lack of time, so we have been doing basic pumpkins. It's nice to see all these fancy and funny ones!

I love the burger pumpkin! Would ya'll believe I've never carved a pumkin? Sometimes I feel I'd like to, but I wouldn't even know where to start.

My husband never carved a pumpkin before I came along. He was raised Jehova Witness for the majority of his life (which he never liked, and does not practice) and they never celebrated anything. Only in the last couple years has his family been doing Christmas. His mom LOVES it and goes all out.

He himself doesn't care either way for Halloween, but he will pester and bug me all through October about Carving his pumpkin. He LOVES it. It's just so much fun. He won't dress up yet, however when we have kidlets and do trick or treating I told him he has to wear a costume if he wants to go out, and he happily agreed. haha.

jdee, next year you gotta try it. It's easy and if you get together with friends it's even more fun. Some silly way to spend an hour.
