thank you Julie!!!! that's what I've been doing - I just didn't think it was right because it didn't look good to me. of course, I'm my own worst critic, so it could be that no one else will even notice what I'm seeing!!

I still have 12 to seam, and I didn't knit anymore last night - still only 29 made. But my puppies are asleep and don't usually get up before 9:00, so I have time to get at least one or two made this morning before I have to play with them!!!!

Oh man! I take one day off to go to Disneyland look at all the new socks and the sock count!

NOTE: Anyone doing my pattern.. I have started doing two decreases at the back of the heel on the last row. Here's how I did it.. on the last row before kitchenering the bottom closed.. k2tog, knit across the first needle, then knit across the second needle to the last two stitches and k2tog. Then kitchener. It rounds it out slightly and I will update the pattern today to reflect this. I'll let you know when I update it so you can d/l a new one if you want. Either one works fine though as Auburnchicks adorable socks show!

I have 7 done total and will be working on more today!

Sorry I didn't get as much done as I had hoped over the weekend, but had a great time with the grandkids... sometimes reading stories, playing games, and rocking babies takes priority!

To add to my first 2 completed socks, I finished my four 1/2 socks on one needle, and did another 4 yesterday after the kids left while watching football. Tonight is Monday Night Football, so hopefully a few more to add.

10 total for me right now.

So Julie, do you want us to continue to PM you with our counts, or just post them here?

Happily knitting away again soon...

Hi!
I found this thread over the weekend, and started knitting before I even had a chance to post here. I have 6 knitted, one finished and 5 to seam. I am going to knit as many as I can and then seam them all at once. I am just using up yarn I already have, so they are not really Christmas colors, but I hope that is ok anyway. I know I have a skein of red, green and white around somewhere, but I haven't found it yet lol.

I think my count was 10 last time,I have finished another 6 for a total of 16.I'll probably get another 2 done tonight.
They have to be mailed by the end of this week,it's 3 weeks mailing time not 2 like I thought but I'll keep at it until the last minute
