I am so sorry for your loss. I can't help but tear up as I read this thread, because I'm reminded of when I lost my own Mom. Take care of yourself, and know you're in our prayers.

I'm glad to read you made it home safely and quickly. As hard as it is, try to take care of yourself as well. Thinking of you and your family.

For your mother, for you and everyone close to you feeling her loss.
A dear sweet man that was my dad's "roomie" when he was in the hospital gave me a bookmark with this prayer/poem. He got it at a memorial the hospital had for families that lost loved ones. It really touched me and I had the first line put on my dad's marker.
Thinking of you my friend...

In the rising of the sun and its going down,
We Remember Them.

In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter,
We Remember Them.

In the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring.
We Remember Them.

In the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer,
We Remember Them.

In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn.
We Remember Them.

In the beginning of the year and when it ends,
We Remember Them.

When we are weary and in need of strength,
We Remember Them.

When we are lost and sick of heart,
We Remember Them.

When we have joys and special celebrations we yearn to share,
We Remember Them.

So long as we live, they too shall live, for they are part of us.
We Remember Them.

Thanks! This helps all of us who have lost a dear loved one!
I am going to pass this on to some of my loved ones who are grieving a mother and a father. This poem will help!

Mason, very sorry to hear about your mother.
I lost my mother a few mo's ago. I always feel she is looking down on me each day. I know they are both in a better place and no more pain.
May God be with you and your family at this time.
