Wanted- easy earflap or beret hat pattern

All the patterns ive seen online are too hard for me!! Is there a pattern that uses just plain straight needles?
Id really like to try knitting a beret too on straight needles.
If anyone knows of any id love to know =)

I can't find any two needle earflap hats, but there are several regular hats. Do you want those?

I used this one and it came out perfect every time. Make sure you use DK weight yarn not worsted. This was the first hat I made with 2 needles. You may want to come down a needle size for the band. I had to add elastic thread to make it snug enough for me.

I now can use DPN's and I still used this pattern starting out on circulars and ending with DPN's.
