Dress and Hat for DD FINALLY - Page 3

So, so cute!! I love the place on the skirt, front and back, where it has the bear and then the block below his head continues so that it looks like his body and he is wearing a scarf. That is such a one of a kind dress. I love it. The hat is wonderful too, right down to the curliques on top. Great job. Your daughter is precious.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for it really. It came from a pattern by Nicky Epstein in an old 96/97 Family Circle Knitting magazine. Then I changed it a bit to suit my needs (ie make it easier LOL) the original pattern is even busier with flowers embroidered on some of the squares, colored scallops along the bottom of the skirt and hat and the colored nubs throughout the top and hat. it also had sleeves and buttons up the back. So I just made it easier for me to finish since the actual pattern work took me so long I was ready to cut it short by the time I got to the top. LOL
