Cute mindless knitting does not mean you are crazy, and the nurses like me to do it as they clean the padding on the wall, floor and ceiling in my room.
I think it is just adorable! I just knit a bunny and had to think long and hard who I was going to give it to lol!!

Lots of people knit "food". Go look at Lionbrand.com and you'll find a ton of patterns for all kinds of food. It's fun, uses up left overs, and the added benefit is you get to knit!!... I was wondering though if you might be able to make it functional also by maybe soaking a piece of the filler material in a cupcake or vanilla sent and letting it dry then placing it in the middle of your next one, that way it would also give off some scent when people handled it, cause, be honest now.. who here wouldn't pick it up and handle it?! It's gorgeous!

You are just as looney as the rest of us LOL. It is so darn cute, I just love it. I am a big lover of all things baked so that one is right up my alley. Good job.

If you are making more and have the glass cake covers you could put them on display, just because they are cute, and the display won't be eaten up by anyone. Just an idea.
