Hi everybody...I've knitted socks before, but I'm doing my first pair using Magic Loop and I'm stuck and confused. I've knitted my cuff and leg, knit my heel flap and turned the heel on the stitches that were on one of my needles (half of the total number of stitches), now I've knitted across those stitches, picked up down the side of the heel flap...then I knit the 30 stitches in pattern, and picked up on the other side of the heel flap (I picked up 14 stitches on each side of the flap for a total of 28 additional stitches).
Now comes my problem. Where do I go from here? I know I have to reduce back down to the original 30 on that needle, but it seems my working yarn is in the wrong place to get started. Up until this point, my working yarn was on my back needle, now it's on my front needle. I don't have any instructions, just winging it. Did I do something wrong? Here's what I've got so far:
