Thanks, all, for your kind comments. I have always enjoyed lace knitting. I'm especially fond of lacy patterns when making socks. But a shawl was, I though, beyond what I could do. I can't wait to make another now that I've gotten through this challenge.

Honestly, it wasn't too bad. There were a few charts, but I found that simply taking it one at a time made the pattern less overwhelming.

I grew up in Alabama...a die-hard Auburn fan. My dh graduated from Auburn, and while he was finishing his degree, I worked for the university.

The loveliest campus on the plains, eh?
