Looking for a 1 skein pattern

Found 1 skein of Patons Lacette, in black, at a local chain store the other day for a $1 and searching for a knit pattern. Weight is Fine/2 at 50 g and 235 yards. Any suggestions?

Ok, started the shawl and so far, this is what I have for rows 8. Never, ever knitted with a thin yard before. Should I have mixed something heavier with this or is it normal to make a shawl with such a thin yarn ok?

I think a lightweight yarn will be perfect for that pattern. Just remember, it won't look like much until after you block it!

Sure, you usually go up several sizes for lace than you'd knit it in stockinette. I think your needle might be just a bit large for it though. What size are you using?

I think it looks very pretty. Personally I like very lace things, and with needles a few numbers up you just get a lacier look.

If it is your first time, it can be very intimidating to knit thin yarn on big needles. I remember my first time. But after that you'll get used to it.
