To me, they look just like the checkerboard slippers Jan has found but knit with one colour thick and one colour thin yarn which makes them look more 'bobbley'

I too like the slippers at this website: http://www.pioneerheritageshoppe.com...lippers-wm.htm
so I wrote the company asking if the pattern is for sale. This was their response:

Thank you for your inquiry. Our slipper pattern is not available to the public at this time. However, we are working on making it available and hope to have that completed by the end of the year. The pattern will only be available in Kit format with a premium yarn and will be sold on our website. At some point we will be putting together a collection of our designs in book format and the slipper pattern will be included in that.
Please check back on our website in the pattern kit department for updated kit availability. Our pattern will be specifically noted as ours.
Thank you for your interest in our patterns, please come again.

Anyway, the slipper does look like a lot like the checkerboard slipper pattern posted at this website, with maybe some tweeking:
http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/ch...-slippers.html

I'll probably get the kit when it comes out.

Hope this helps,
Jan

Oh that's great news...I'll be looking for this pattern myself. Hopefully they'll get this into pattern form soon. I really like these slippers.

Thanks for letting me know what they said.
