Baby shower knits finished yesterday! Thank God the washcloths only took 1 hour! This is the kind of mindless knitting a mother of 3 needs to knit.
First here's Bubby the bear with a knit tie. He was knit in a couple evenings-well nights after the kids went to bed.

And here's the fish washcloths for the baby too...these took 1 hour each and didn't use but maybe 2/3 of a ball of sugar n cream (which was $1 a Michaels yesterday! the sale goes all week I bought 20 balls...I'm seeing some dishcloths in my future)

forgot to add this picture, this is how the bear is being presented to the mama-to-be

Nope, I can't, although I'm getting a bit nervous.
Dustina, good luck with the move. Hope to see you around soon.
Julie, those babyshower gifts look so cute. The bear is absolutely adorable.
I've finally finished the Montera coat, including buttons. I've been wearing it all evening, and it's nice and warm and soft and I totally love it. I'll share pictures soon. Right now, it's bedtime for me. Have to get used to going to bed early before Thursday.

Dustina: Wishing you all the best for your move. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.
Lieke: Good luck in the new job.
Just a quick look in for me. I did sell about 12 cards on Saturday, but of course spent more than I made. I am going with a friend to visit her sister for a couple of days this week, so I won't be around too much.
Happy Knitting to all.

Hi Socksters,
I'm in Washington State at a family reunion. So far, so good. I don't have a lot of internet time, though, so I can't reply individually.
Julie, your stuff looks SO cute.
Dustina, I hope your move is smooth and that you find new homes for all your things in your new home!
Hi to the rest of you!

Sue, congrats on selling cards!
Gina, hope your travels are smooth and that you're enjoying your time in Washington! How's the weather up there?
As for me, I'm exhausted... it's VBS week, and our church does it in the evenings. We have a lot of working mommies who wouldn't be able to bring our kids otherwise, so it's good... but it makes for a really long day for the little ones. Still, it's a lot of fun. And I'm getting some knitting done on the extremely boring scarf project. Gina, the one you saw is nearly done!

We wanna see pictures. & I wanna know why the 1 is 'extremely boring.' Also I think that's very neat that they do VBS in the evenings; never heard of that before.
QOFD: what's everyone knitting on? wip pics?
I currently have nothing on the needles; but really wanna knit some socks or maybe a 4th of July dishcloth?

I keep forgetting to post pics!!! It takes forever, so I'll ask my dad to help.
I just finished my Candle Flame Shawl, a pair of socks, and a lace scarf. All of these have been on the needles for a WHILE, now.
Pics coming!!
