1979 dishrag pattern

I have dishrag patterns for 2009 & 1939 from krisknits, but I need a pattern for 1979. I don't know how to change the 3 to a 7. If anybody knows where I could buy a book w/all years to knit----THAT would be AWESOME TOO!!!!! OR just the pattern for 1979 would be fine too. Thanks

Not really sure what you want here.

Does the pattern actually have 1939 and 2009 on it? Or was the pattern written then or something?

More info needed.

I did a search for krisknits and it looks like twospoons is talking about the actual numbers on the dishcloth

twospoons - instead of trying to change the 3 to a 7, it might be easier to use the instructions for the 9 to modify it - go straight across at the top and eliminate where it drops down and around.
