How many balls of cotton did you use? I have lots of Peaches & Cream and Sugar & Cream lying around so I may try to make one without having to go to the store.

My pleasure! I started with the colorful yarn (it knits from the bottom up) until it ran out, so 1 skein of that. Then I took up with the solid color and used about 1.25 skeins to finish the bag.....that's pretty exact, since I always weigh my FOs for absolute accuracy in skeins used per project. I'm kind of OCD'ish that way :o)

Oh I love these bags! I've been wanting to make more market bags and I have lots of cotton. I've never knit one though, I just started knitting. Do you think I could do it?
