European alternative to Caron Felt It?

Hi

I want to make the Cyberseam's Felted Tote bag which uses Caron Felt-it yarn. None of my European on-line shops seem to stock it and was wondering if any of the Europe-based knitters here could suggest an alternative. The cost of postage from the US makes buying it from there a bit pricey.

you can use any 100% wool that's available. You want to make sure it hasn't been treated to be machine washable, or else it won't felt.

Yes, just use an aran/heavy worsted wool yarn and you'll be fine.

I've seen something German, I think called Fizz or Filtz or something, I think if you do a search for felt on ravelry's yarn page and exclude yarnies (hand spun) it gives you a list of stuff designed for felting

you know they have that stuff in a shop in town, next time I'm in I'll look at what they call it cos it's bugging me now that I can't remember.

I think it might have beenAnchor Wash and Filz-It, I saw it on Ebay
