Wonderful projects!

The skein with the little specks of color: is that the City Tweed DK? If so, what colorway is it? I love it! I have the color cards for both weights, but I didn't see yours, or, my monitor is off-kilter!

Nice work on both! I'd love to learn how to do both socks AND entrelac.

Both are simple you take it one stitch at a time.

There is are good instuction on entrelac at:

http://www.knittingdaily.com/blogs/d...f-pattern.aspx

and good instruction on socks at:

Silver Socks

IMHO toe-up-socks are easier because you don't have to pickup gusset stitches, but everyone to their own opinion.

BUT MOST IMPORTANT is that you have people from all over the world waiting here at KH to help you at the drop of a post.

Its actually stroll tweed (well, its labeled as Essential, from before they changed the name), but its fingering weight in Ash..

Entrelac Socks
I just started my entrelac in the round socks. I love this technique, but I am running into a huge problem with the top triangles. I am using the sock pattern from the book Entrelac: The Essential guide... (I did an entrelac scarf before and that was perfect, so I am not sure what I am missing.)

Could you perhaps share the link to your pattern so that I can compare them to see where I am going wrong?

This is a really old thread. It might be best to start a new one so your questions get the attention they deserve. I don't have the book or the pattern, someone else who currently posts here might, but maybe if you can say specifically what you're having a problem with, give a line or two of the pattern, it will be easier to help you. Meanwhile, I used this video when I learned entrelac in the round and will go back to it when I do it again. You might find something helpful in it.

I'm actually thinking I'll do a pair of entrelac socks for my granddaughter so this is of interest to me also.
