Hi everone, Great news! sockamania will continue. Tama <[link]> has offered to
take over the designing. The designs she's done so far are great. We've not
worked out all hte other details yet but for the time being Sockamania will
continue as normal. If there are any changes we'll keep you informed. - Fri 11

Just got back from the Knitter's Fair- I'm exhausted, but I had to post this picture of Sue and I (it's a little fuzzy).

I also wanted to say that I love my Sock KAL family and my gift was amazing. What a fabulous way to make someone feel loved. Thank you ALL for your kindness

I haven't been in here in forever and a day, but I know I'm always welcome. It is for that reason that I would like to share my really good news with you guys. After being unemployed since January, I finally have a job! And I didn't even have to look for it, either. Long story short, I'll be working at a coffee shop owned by the mom of one of the kids I had as a fifth grader when I was a teacher assistant. It will only be two mornings a week for now, but it's only ten minutes from home, and it's something I've always wanted to try. Plus, I'll need to be there by 6:15 in the morning, so for now two mornings/week might be all I can handle until I get used to it. I didn't even know 6:15 came twice a day.

To keep this post about yarn , if you haven't tried Creatively Dyed Yarn, you really should. It's amaaaazing. So is Sunshine Yarns. I have pictures of both on my flickr. Enjoy! And if any of you short out your keyboards from , don't come running to me.

Ann, you're welcome! We love you!

Lady Vi, congratulations!! And yes, of course, you are always welcome!

Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed by the list of things to be knit? At the moment, I've got so many things on my 'need to do' list that I can't even begin to think of the 'want to do' list! Well, actually I did really enjoy knitting the shawl, but now I'm doing Emily's fall sweater, which is all stockinette at the moment and BORING. Then I need to do Abby's winter sweater... and I still have the two hats to do for my friend... then I really want to do a scarf for my dad, some socks for my girls, something for my mom (NO idea what yet)... and maybe, some day, something for me.

Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday!

Ann: It was great to finally meet you. Are you going to show us all the goodies you bought at the Knitters Fair?

Good Morning Socksters!!

Ann~

Jackie~She is doing better although I took her this morning 'cause she wanted me to walk in with her.

Dotty~That is great news, I need to remember to check there monthly again for new patterns

Carey~I'm right there with ya and that usually makes me not want to knit and harder to get stuff done. I have stockings to knit...I have 3 shop samples, baby afghan for a shower on the 3rd, fair stuff that has to be turned in by the 25th...and one of the classes I'm doing for the LYS I gotta make more than on sample of so they can see the local schools charted out... (then I would like to knit a sweater for Roo, Dads sweater, and me some mittens!) The shawl is soo pretty!

Lady Vi~We miss your posts! Congrats on the job that is wonderful ...ohhh love the yarns

Chris~Soo what yarns did ya get? We need pictures!

Ann & Sue~What all yarns did ya'll get while at the fair

Rachel~I hope you can get more hours or get it worked out

Hi Lisa, Carla, Steve, Karina, Christine, everyone!! I hope you guys had a great weekend

We made it home yesterday around 5 and the cows greeted us with their moos . We had a really great time and JD had a blast rafting. Although on Saturday they did lose someone...

I worked on gloves for the fair and need to finish them up today so I can finish up the shawl for the fair...and then work on the shop samples...I might not get socks done in time

I hope you guys have a great day of knitting

The Eagle did not fly to high this month (its barely walking) and I want to save money for the Virginal Fiber Fest next month. DSHMBO&A (Anna) kept wandering and fingering and fingering and wandering. She got some small tools and a pair of Brittany Knitting Needles. She has been using some acrylic needles from Micheals. Once she started to use the Brittany she fell in love.

Even though I didn't get any, it was still great S.E.X.

Dustina: You will be very disappointed with me. I didn't buy any yarn, I just don't need any. I have enough for 15 pair of socks at home now. I did buy a pattern and a felted soap. I really went for inspiration and to meet Ann.
Ann and her friend bought some lovely yarns. Hopefully she will post about all her buys.
