Hi Everyone. I am at I-17 and Peoria, in Phoenix and relatively new to knitting. I have made a few blankets for babies and a couple other small items, but am working myself up slowly. I would love to know where everyone's favorite places to shop for yarn are and what your favorite brands are??? I have problems finding yarns I want to use, but I don't know of which kinds will actually last... I am so glad I found this website!!!

Hi, blu! I don't live there, but my daughter lives in Mesa.
When I'm there, I like to go to the Fiber Factory in downtown Mesa. However, there are a lot of other yarn shops in the Phoenix area. There's one in Tempe that I know of (never been there), also one in Scottsdale.

Also, did you know Phoenix is home of Southwest Trading Co, the people who have Tofutsies Sock Yarn?

This site has helped me teach myself!!! If I have a problem I just look it up on line and the videos are a wonderful help!!! I have watched some of them over and over again. My word of advise is to keep going on your project till you get to the 10 or so row before it really begins to look like something at first. Now they start off looking better with each project. Hang in there!!!!
