Dusinta I did a search on ravelry for infinity scarf and here's what I found.
Gina I went to Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's today and nada, didn't even see but one skein of patons at HL & nothing but the patterned patons kroy sock yarn at JoAnns, nothing in blacks either. Wonder if it might show up at the dollar store or biglots because it's discontinued? I plan on going to Michaels tomorrow to look for some other stuff, I'll check there too.

Lisa, Max is adorable!
Courtney, thanks for checking.
Julie, Don't bother checking at Michael's. They don't even carry it. I checked at another one today. I'm sure I'll find something.
Dustina, I hope your sinuses are better soon. I've been having fluid in my ears and every once in a while, they plug completely. Then all I hear in my head is me. Who wants to just hear ME?!?! Not even ME!
I got no knitting done today. I ran errands and took some cuttings and transplants from some of my favorite plants. They need trimming back anyway, so why not take some with me? This evening was our grow group. I took a Caesar salad to that and we had a great time. Oh, we also sold our entertainment center on Craig's list. We have plenty more stuff to sell. Tomorrow, I think I'll take pics and post more stuff.

I got test results yesterday, from the takehome quiz I got a 96% and from the second exam I got a 65% (after the curve, 60 before). So my grade between the 2 exams is a 72.

Julie, YAY!!! You passed!
Dustina, your weather sounds yucky. Ours has been beautiful all week. Mid 70's during the day, low humidity, 50's-60's at night. You don't live in Houston for summer. You live here for fall/winter/spring!
So the appraisal came back early, but unchanged. We offered a compromise to the buyer. Please pray that they accept it!

Gina is there anything I could do for test anxiety? My sister thinks I have that because in talking to her she said I know the material but when I see a question on the test I dont know the answer to right away I freak out and get very anxious.

Dustina, I had sinus surgery probably 15 years ago and haven't had a sinus infection since. I had them regularly before that. Find an EXCELLENT surgeon and go for it.
Julie, I do have some great information on test anxiety. I'll bring it when we meet on Monday and walk you through it. (You may want to remind me on Sunday. I have a lot on my mind right now! I'm excited about seeing you!
I'm also excited because we FINALLY have an agreement on the house. We're out 2,400 extra dollars, but at least we can move forward. Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers!

Julie
When you sit down getting ready for the test, close your eyes and take seven of eight deep breaths. Breath in for a count of 7, hold for a count of 4 and then breath out for a count of 7. Slow deep in, hold, slow easy out. As you do these breaths see the test paper being handed back to you with a BIG 95 circled in red on covering the paper.
The deep breaths will generate an automatic response that will relax you. The big 95 will tell your subconscious what it has achieved.

Thanks Chris, I already take several deep breaths and say a few prayers before I start...but I'll work on imagining that 95.

Julie, when's your next test?
What Chris said is excellent. Another option is, when breathing in, breathe in clear-mindedness, good recall, etc. and breathe out stress, negative thoughts, etc. SEE them coming and going and FEEL them with your breath.
Alternate between this and Chris's 95, always breathing in the positive, breathing out the negative.
There is a LOT more to help with test anxiety and I'm looking forward to going over it with you. If you have a test right away, call me and I can help you over the phone. I'll PM you my phone number.
I'm tutoring tonight, but my student is late.
I've been selling stuff on Craig's List today. So far, we've sold an entertainment center, a freezer and an RC sailboat that DH put together when he was a kid. Gotta come up with that extra money and get rid of stuff at the same time!
I'm SO relieved to finally have stuff ironed out. Now comes the really hard-core packing. DH and I worked outside for awhile today, taking down bird feeders, tomato cages and the like.
My student just pulled up. TTYL!
