Katie will be 2 on Monday, the 16th, and these are a few pictures I took this afternoon, please let me know which you think is the best picture. I'm going to have a copy made for each grandparent to take home with them on Saturday after her party.

Either of the last two are my favorite. What a cutie!

Julie, Sorry the kids gave you a hard day. They're were SO adorable when I saw them. Katie's pics are TOO CUTE!!! I think my fave is the 4th one with her lying on her tummy. They all really capture her well. As for the socks, I've only done short-row with double wraps.

Lisa, Two weeks before Thanksgiving! AAAAAHHHH! My inlaws will be here and HOPEFULLY, we'll be moved by then!

Sue, no reason to feel like a fraud on here! We're friends, not frauds. This is ANY sock. You're wearing them, aren't you?!?

Dustina, welcome back! We missed you! I hate it when I don't have internet. Glad to hear the kids are doing so well in school.

We're back home. I haven't unpacked yet, but I got the holes in the walls spackled. Once it dries, I'll do a LOT of touch-up painting. Now, however, I'm going to unpack. Although, really....what's the point?!?

I like the one where she is holding up the tree.

I'm in the process of knitting something totally new. They are called socks. Has anyone heard of these? But I am getting mad at the pattern. The pattern keeps calling me a heel. How rude can you get?

Thanks for letting me know your 'favs' of Katie...I couldn't decide. But then when I went to walgreens.com and uploaded the photos, they had a collage option, so I got all 6 of them on one 8x10! I'm so thrilled, and I chose a black border & added her name and year, it's too cute!

Julie: I just had a quick look in. I like the last 2 best, but they are all cute.

Gina: Yes I am wearing my socks, hate store bought now.

Dustina: I will keep looking in to see pics etc, and you never know, I may just get the knitting bug again one day.

So how's life for everyone here?
Today we're enjoying some rain! But cooler temps, only supposed to get to 64 today. Tomorrow is 52 and Sunday is low 40s. Chance of snow all weekend.
Tomorrow is Katie's bday party (bday on Monday) so I'm cleaning the house and baking a cinderella cake for her. Tonight's date night (few and far between).

Hope all is well, keep on

Hi Chris, HOw's the sock coming along? Is it still calling you a heel or did you get past all that. Such emotional baggage....

Julie, I'm glad I was in Albuquerque before it got cold. IT was cold enough for me.

I'm sitting outside manning our "moving sale." We're not allowed to put signs out, so it's been pretty slow. Maybe made $60. Better than nothing, though. We make more by posting individual items on Craig's List....and THEN people buy more stuff because it's all sitting out. I made $90 from someone who came to spend $20 last night. DH is bringing five boxes of stuff for free shredding. YAY. I saw it on freecycle a few weeks ago and the timing couldn't be better.
In more moving drama, I found out yesterday that our movers don't have insurance. So I fired them and found another one. Gotta check these things out!

Both kids are coming home tonight. DD gets to stay until after Thanksgiving.

Hi to the rest of you! Hope you're well!
