Rachel thanks for posting. Not sure where everyone is on here, been super quite. How icky about the bed bugs, makes me itch too.
Now onto baking pies for a couple of Brians work buddies as a thanks for buying him a couple lunches and then I need to finish the laundry too.

Hi everyone! I've been swamped, too- not much posting.

Julie, what kind of pies are you going to make? Chris and I made rhubarb pies for both of our offices last week- they were a big hit!

Rachel, good to see you! Good luck with school and job interviews!

Gina, how frustrating about the flooring guy! I'm glad things are getting done, though.

I finally finished Abby's stocking, and last night I started a coffee mug cozy- I'm making up the pattern as I go along. I worked on it a little last night, and a little during my lunch break today. It's already almost done! I love instant gratification projects! I'm hoping to make several of them as office gifts this year.

In other news... please pray for me- my law firm is having money issues right now. If anyone will get laid off, it will be me. I have no idea if they're even contemplating that, but I'm really worried.

Carey you're in our prayers!
The pies I made were pumpkin pie.
Pumpkin Pie Recipe
1 unbaked pie crust 9"

1 (15oz) can pumpkin
2 eggs slightly beaten
1/2 cup condensed milk (not Eagle Brand)
1/2 cup fresh milk
7/8 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp cloves (ground)

Combine sugar, flour, salt & spices, set aside.
Stir pumpkin, eggs and milk till well blended.
Stir in dry ingredients. Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Hi everyone! Just checking in. I've tried to go back and catch-up on some of the reading, but I didn't get through all of it. (You are a busy bunch of people!) I've been not doing too much new or different these days. Knitting socks as usual, crocheting doilies on the side.

Dustinac, congratulations on you very own home!
Carey, fingers crossed on your job situation.
Cacunn, love your acronym for your wife!
Christine, I hadn't realized you had an accident. So sorry to hear that.
Gina, How wonderful about your new house.
Sue, your business is taking off?
Julie, good work on your studies!

All others, hi!

I can't believe that baby girl of yours, Julie ! That's the baby we all waited for, and she looks almost as big as her sister !

Hello everybody.......sorry to be missing in action. I get to post on my blog pretty regularly, but don't do much else online. Special hi's to Gina, Dustina, and Jackie, Carey, and Julie ! All's well with me and hubby and we're preparing for our first real Thanksgiving back among the RELATIVES ! It's already been interesting !
Love to you all, and blessed holidays for you and your families !
