Help! Scalloped Border Woes
Can you help me? I am trying to knit a hat from a pattern in a book and the edge is giving me fits. It's a beautiful scalloped edge in the photo.

Here is the edge pattern:
CO 97 st.
Row 1: K1, (yo, K5, lift 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th sts over the first st) repeat () to last stitch, yo, K1.

When I do this the way I think I am supposed to, I wind up with something like 32 stitches left on the needle. However, the pattern at the end of the edge rows says I should wind up with 80 sts! The other 3 rows in the pattern do not show any increases, so I assume I am doing something wrong.

Please help, thanks in advance!
