Converting Sweater from flat to circular

I know this is probably pretty basic but just making sure. I haven't knit anything bigger than socks in a long time. Anyway, I'm making the Big Sack Sweater from Stitch and Bitch Nation (it's a raglan sleeve with very little shaping) and I worked the body from the hem up on circs instead of flat with seams. I worked in the round until I got to the arm shaping and then I worked the back and front flat.

Now I'm up to the sleeves and I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. I want to do the sleeves on circs and do them both at the same time. I'm thinking I will cast on the cuff in the same manner as if I were starting a pair of 2 at a time socks -- cast on half of the first cuff, the start another ball and cast on for the cuff of the second sleeve, then drop the second ball of yarn, pick up the first and finish the cast on for the first cuff.

Then I will work the sleeves as written with my increases on either side of a marker and work circular until I get to the raglan shaping. I will then work back and forth and shape the top as written in the pattern.

That sound right?
